Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: January 27, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Blue Bolt Home Services website and any related services, communications, or online forms (collectively, the “Site” and “Services”) provided by Blue Bolt Home Services (“Blue Bolt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using our Site or Services, submitting a request, scheduling service, or communicating with us, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or Services.

1. Services and Scope

Blue Bolt provides residential repair and home services, which may include consultations, estimates, scheduling, and service delivery at customer locations. The specific scope of any service is determined by the details of your request and any estimate, invoice, or written agreement we provide.

We may decline or discontinue service at our discretion where permitted by law, including for safety, access, or other operational reasons.

Service Area

Blue Bolt Home Services operates in Texas and provides Services only within the Austin area. Requests outside our service area may be declined or may require alternative arrangements where permitted.

2. Estimates, Pricing, and Changes

Estimates

Any estimate provided (by phone, text, email, in writing, or on-site) is an approximation based on the information available at the time. Final pricing may vary depending on:

  • Actual conditions at the service location

  • Material availability and cost

  • Scope changes requested by you

  • Additional labor required

  • Code requirements or unforeseen complications

Pricing Changes

If additional work is needed beyond the initial estimate, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and obtain approval before proceeding.

3. Scheduling, Access, and Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact and service-location details

  • Ensure reasonable and safe access to the service location

  • Secure pets and maintain a safe environment for technicians

  • Disclose known hazards (electrical issues, mold, pests, structural concerns, etc.)

  • Ensure someone 18+ is available if required for authorization or entry

If access is not available at the scheduled time, the appointment may be canceled or rescheduled and may be subject to a service fee (where permitted by law).

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand plans change.

You may cancel or reschedule by contacting us using the phone number or email listed on our Site. Depending on scheduling and technician dispatch status, cancellations made on short notice may be subject to a cancellation fee where permitted by law and where disclosed at booking.

5. Payments, Invoicing, and Fees

Payment terms may be provided at booking, on an invoice, or in a written agreement.

You agree to pay all charges associated with approved Services, including applicable taxes and fees. Late payments may be subject to allowable fees, interest, or collections activity consistent with applicable law.

If you dispute a charge, contact us promptly so we can review and attempt to resolve it.

6. Communications and Text Messaging (SMS)

By providing your phone number, submitting a request, or scheduling service, you consent to receive communications from us, including calls and SMS/text messages, which may be delivered using automated technology or third-party providers (such as Twilio).

Message types may include:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders

  • Service updates and technician arrival notifications

  • Customer support follow-ups

  • Promotional or marketing messages (where permitted)

Opting out: You can opt out of marketing texts at any time by replying STOP. You may still receive non-marketing messages related to an active service request or appointment if allowed by law.

Message and data rates may apply.
