By using our Site or Services, submitting a request, scheduling service, or communicating with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services & Scope
Blue Bolt provides residential repair and home services, which may include consultations, estimates, scheduling, and service delivery at customer locations. The specific scope of any service is determined by the details of your request and any estimate, invoice, or written agreement we provide.
We may decline or discontinue service at our discretion where permitted by law, including for safety, access, or other operational reasons.
Service Area
Blue Bolt Home Services operates in Texas and provides Services only within the Austin area. Requests outside our service area may be declined or may require alternative arrangements where permitted.
2. Estimates, Pricing & Changes
Estimates
Any estimate provided (by phone, text, email, in writing, or on-site) is an approximation based on the information available at the time. Final pricing may vary depending on:
Actual conditions at the service location
Material availability and cost
Scope changes requested by you
Additional labor required
Code requirements or unforeseen complications
Pricing Changes
If additional work is needed beyond the initial estimate, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and obtain approval before proceeding.
3. Scheduling, Access & Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate contact and service-location details
Ensure reasonable and safe access to the service location
Secure pets and maintain a safe environment for technicians
Disclose known hazards (electrical issues, mold, pests, structural concerns, etc.)
Ensure someone 18+ is available if required for authorization or entry
If access is not available at the scheduled time, the appointment may be canceled or rescheduled and may be subject to a service fee (where permitted by law).
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand plans change.
You may cancel or reschedule by contacting us using the phone number or email listed on our Site. Depending on scheduling and technician dispatch status, cancellations made on short notice may be subject to a cancellation fee where permitted by law and where disclosed at booking.
5. Payments, Invoicing & Fees
Payment terms may be provided at booking, on an invoice, or in a written agreement.
You agree to pay all charges associated with approved Services, including applicable taxes and fees. Late payments may be subject to allowable fees, interest, or collections activity consistent with applicable law.
If you dispute a charge, contact us promptly so we can review and attempt to resolve it.
6. Communications & Text Messaging (SMS)
If you provide your phone number or contact us by phone, you consent to receive service-related calls from us. We only send SMS text messages to customers who have explicitly opted in (for example, by checking the SMS opt-in box on our web form). Consent to receive SMS is not required to request service; if you do not opt in, we can communicate by phone or email instead.
Message types may include:
- Project/task status updates and request receipt confirmations
Appointment confirmations and reminders
Service updates and technician arrival notifications
Customer support follow-ups
No marketing texts: We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies.

7. Website Use & Acceptable Conduct
You agree not to:

Attempt to disrupt, damage, or interfere with Site functionality

To the extent permitted by law, Blue Bolt’s total liability for any claim relating to the Site or Services will not exceed the amount paid by you to Blue Bolt for the specific Services giving rise to the claim.
